Rabbi Lizzi Heydemann is the Rabbi and Founder of Mishkan Chicago, a spiritual community engaging young adults, spiritual seekers of all ages, and others on the fringes of Jewish life through Jewish prayer, music, learning, activism and inspiration. She graduated with honors from Stanford University and attended the Ziegler School of Rabbinic Studies. She was a Rabbinic Fellow at IKAR in Los Angeles before returning to her home city of Chicago in 2011 to catalyze the founding of Mishkan. She believes dark chocolate and red wine are the base of any sensible food pyramid.
