Dina Kuperstock serves as Staff Chaplain at the Motion Picture Television Fund, a non-profit organization which provides health care, social services, and residence for entertainment industry members and retirees in need. She offers spiritual care and officiates life cycle rituals for individuals and families of all spiritual and religious identities, specializing in geriatrics and palliative care. Dina is completing a Masters of Religion at the Academy for Jewish Religion California, including coursework at Claremont School of Theology. Her graduate research proposes methods for integrating spiritual rituals into medical advance care planning. Prior to pursuing chaplaincy, Ms. Kuperstock was an agent at Creative Artists Agency, where she led the company’s film sales business. She worked with many top directors, producers, and financiers, securing distribution for hundreds of critically-acclaimed, award-winning, and profitable films. She is an outspoken advocate for including diverse voices in entertainment, medicine, and spiritual care.
